How To Accessorise Your Bathroom On A Budget

A bathroom is a place of necessity but that doesn’t mean it has to be drab and boring. It is easy to accessorise a bathroom than a full on bathroom revamp and it can even be done on a budget. Here are some tips on how you can achieve a beautiful bathroom without spending too much money.

Paint it

Why not paint part of the bathroom and make it look less plain and boring? Paint a wall or the ceiling or even the floor to make it a focus point and a much happier room to go into.

Add a mirror

A mirror can add so much to a bathroom space. They not only look great and are very useful but they also add a lot of light to a room which makes it feel much more open too. You will obviously have to measure up to ensure that your mirror fits the space you have but a new mirror will surely make all the difference.

Invest in some storage

It can look very messy if you don’t have storage and have bottles and other items cluttering up the place. Invest in some storage that suits the bathroom and is suitable to the space – use this to store your soap and other little items that otherwise have nowhere else to go. You could also store hand towels in one of the drawers too.

What about a house plant?

You may not think about putting house plants in the bathroom but there are some plants that thrive in such a space. Opt for real ones if you have windows – if you have no windows, maybe consider fake ones instead.

Choose some cute but cheap accessories

Why not opt for a new toothbrush holder or a soap dispenser? These can be picked up for a fairly affordable price and make all the difference when it comes to giving your bathroom a new look.

Freshen up the windows

What is adorning your bathroom windows right now? Do you have blinds or do you have frosted glass? Why not change this up? This will make the world of difference – some blinds will look great and are relatively cheap to add to a bathroom. Whether you choose a roller blind or a Roman blind, they will surely look great.

Change your lighting

Bathroom lighting can sometimes be quite harsh so why not consider changing it? Replace harsh lights with a softer shade. It will really change the way the bathroom looks and won’t break the bank.

These are a few of my tips for accessorising your bathroom on a budget – how do you make your bathroom look fresh and new without spending too much money?
