Smoky Yet Sweet Paprika Chicken Marinade

Some days chicken is just boring. You want something that makes your mouth zing without adding all the calories to your hips like the Captains chicken would. There are a few chicken marinades I turn to, but again, lemon chicken gets a bit old after a time.
What do you do when that happens? Well you turn to your spice rack and see what you have to offer. Grab a load of things and hope for the best.
In this instance the best turned out to be a sweet smoky paprika hit on juicy tender chicken. And garlic, because there must always be garlic!!

Ingredients
4 tbsp honey
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper

Method
1. Pour the honey into the bowl, then whisk through the oil
2. Add the paprika and the garlic, whisk some more
3. Season to taste
4. Add the chicken, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight is you can
5. Best cooked on the barbecue in kebab form but failing that in the cold UK winter a griddle pan is a wonderful alternative
Thank you Laura for sharing this delicious looking marinade!
