We finally have our house all sorted and comfortable and I finally have an office space thanks to the recent rejig of spaces and the declutter of the spare room.
However since we are so very lucky in our village to be blessed with a large garden there is still a part of me that would love to extend our home outwards with an extension that runs the full length of the back of the house.
Who knows if it’s just at this time of the year I begin to put away the spring summer things and start to think about the cold dark nights but I crave more space.
My next-door but one neighbour has recently completed a similar extension, however without my much wanted BiFold doors and I am rather jealous.

If money were no object I would love to bring more of our outdoor space in and with the option of opening up the front with the use of BiFold doors it would be amazing to enjoy our english weather whenever we can, along with having a more dedicated space to dump the kids clutter and have a more adult space.

For me however I think I would love to rejig my current downstairs layout and extend the living room space into the extension and then have doors leading to the garden and then shunt my current kitchen into the extension and top half of my old kitchen space and again use bifold doors to open that up into the garden too but this would also allow us to use the small end of our current kitchen as a utility room and still leave space for a long dining table as a focal point in the kitchen.

As much as I would love to extend I think finances are super tight after having a baby so for now I think I need to look into better storage solutions instead for the stuff that we have.
