For those of you that read my family blog The Oliver’s Madhouse you will already be aware of the love for minions that my little fella has for these odd yellow critters … for those of you that haven’t read … let me tell you that when I say obsessed I mean totally , with every ounce of his being.
During this total upstairs titivation project my daughter has decided to move out and although we have 4 bedrooms we only have 2 larger rooms, one being ours and the others the one my daughter was in.
In light of her decision we have decided that instead of staying empty the big room needs to be given a new purpose, so instead we are swapping the kids rooms round, firstly to give Joshua more space to use everyday and secondly to keep a room for Beth and her belongings that are here in the hopes things will be different in the future and she may come and stay.
If the decorating was totally down to my husband there would be total minion take over too, but for me with decorating being hard work I want to keep the room basic on the paint and carpet front and only add in anything minions that would easily be changed once the new character of choice is made … so bed linen and odd accessories that are minions only in my book!
With so much on offer with the yellow fellas on, it has been a super hard job to select which minions items would make it in … however here are my first ideas on what will be happening in the room once we get hallway and stairs finished! … I haven’t left myself that much time have I?
