HOTPOINT Ultima S-line RPD9467J Washing Machine Review

A little while back the unthinkable happened and I found myself washing machineless, pregnant and stressed. 

After humping the families washing round to my Mums almost everyday I was saving fast to get a replacement, however the folks at AO have a super review programme and they offered me the Hotpoint Ultima S-line washing machine to review. 

Now since it had been almost 10 years since I had looked at Washing Machines I was shocked at just how much machines now do! 

This particular machine has a capacity of 9 kg, spin speed of 1400 rpm and has a quick wash of 30 minutes which by far out challenged my old machine. 

While looking a this machine there were several features that I was also really thrilled to try out, the first being the specialised Anti-Stain feature that means using the direct injection button you can remove over 100 stains at as little as 20 degrees! … Which is super news living with men folk! 

The machine also has 16 specific wash programmes making it ideal for targeting your wash and with many of them you are able to reduce the length of time in the machine depending upon the temperatures you select so practically every wash has the ability to be adjusted to suit your needs and time frame.

I have utterly adored the self clean feature on this machine too, my last machine didn’t have this option and I struggled to keep it smelling fresh and so having this function that targets the build up of debris in the machine is only going to help in the long-term, after all how can you clean clothes in a dirty machine?! 

With this machine I love how much the details have been thought through, from the swivel out detergent draw with a super top on that also has the full programme list on ( so you don’t have to keep the instructions to hand) to the lovely LCD display that shows anything and everything that you might want to know when putting on a wash, from rpms, time, temp and also it tells you what stage the wash is at throughout the programme. 

We have been using the Hotpoint Ultima S-line RPD9467J Washing Machine for just over 3 months now and have loved it, although I love to share the positives with the negatives we have yet to discover any negatives!
