Recently I was invited to a press event in London to check out Habitats homewares and offerings and I must admit after an epic journey and some rescuing from Jen from Love Chic Living and Amanda from The Ana Mum Diary who helped me navigate the tube system in one piece we arrived.
Now for me shopping is never anything I do with Kids in tow, its to chaotic and stressful but when I get the opportunity to go on my own I love nothing like a good wander gaining some inspiration for the next project.
This coming year we have some serious projects in the pipeline such as our bedroom, the teens bedroom and the hall stairs and landing for starters…. although If I have my way I would like to have a go at finding a new desk and storage for my office which is perched in the corner of the living room.
Who would have guessed that finding just the right desk would be so hard!
So for me getting to explore Habitats offerings without children really is a luxury and after a the Habitat team showed use what was on offer in the form of their new sofas … I headed off in store to see what gems I could discover for consideration in the upcoming projects.
I fell in love with a lovely chair for my bedroom which not only did I love the colour of but the shape was gorgeous too along with a beautiful white table for the kitchen along with some kooky side tables that my daughter would adore in her new room .. but for now its just pipe dreams as I am not due to start any project for another month, however at least now I have some ideas!
