If you have been round here a while you will know that my cooking and baking journey have not been an easy one and in fact its been a love hate relationship.
Over recent years I have started to develop more of a liking for cooking and baking but with the recent media storm over The Great British Bake Off my tiny baking mojo had diminished and if I’m honest I got sick of seeing it on my timeline on social media … it’s only a programme people.
So in order to get my baking mojo back Home Bargains have jumped to my rescue and sent me some of their home baking bits and pieces to get me back in the kitchen and help me get my bake on.
If I’m honest I really didn’t resale that Home Bargains did so many cute baking bits and the ones that cake were super, with cookie stamps, bun cases and icing cut out stamps we needed to get going on some baking!

I think starting out small and making cupcakes was certainly the way forward and I spent a really love morning baking 30+ cupcakes varying from chocolate to vanilla and with frosting and without that I vowed I would take some more time out to do some more baking again soon.
I utterly loved the cake boxes that were sent too, ideal for those coffee mornings!
Even being on a healthy eating plan I had to obviously try my own baking before subjecting anyone else to it and I don’t mind saying it was pretty spectacular!

So much so watch this space for a ladies tea party! …. After all you have to share cake with your friends don’t you!

Thanks Home Bargains for getting me back in the kitchen and igniting my passion to learn and get better on the baking front.
