It’s that time of the year where sorting the garden becomes like an in-depth itch that I need to scratch and this time it’s probably more than ever.
Last year we had an extremely small baby and so sorting the garden was not priority and the year before it was all about decorating the house while I was pregnant.
This year I have decided we are going to spend every spare waking moment in the fresh air and spend time in the garden all together as a family and so we need to address the lighting to make sure evenings can be spent out there as either a family or entertaining friends.
Until I started looking round at solar lighting options for I didn’t realise at just how funky some of these can be and I am totally smitten with some of them like the ones below:
I also love the brightly coloured light bulbs and the gold version that clip onto hooks or can be clipped to a tree too!
To make more of a feature of the seating area on the patio I love the garden stakes that you can pop into the grass. For us I would pop these into the pots around the patio to light up the area along with lighting up the plants too.
I also love the idea of using solar lighting for tables and within garden ornaments, in fact I am so in love with having wire free lighting I am really looking forward to getting stuck in out there and lighting up all this years hard work.
