Dear Santa … Making My House A Home

Dear Santa,

Most years I look back on the year and remember about some exuberant item I would love for you to bring me Christmas morning, but truth be told I am not wanting any such gift this year.

I have spent so much time working this last year that I have let the house slip, something I am wanting to rectify, quickly into the new year. From this point forward  I am aiming to titivate and to polish my house to where it should be.

Last year I completed lots of decorating not least our bedroom and living room  but feel I missed out on the little things, the things that make a house a home if you like.

So dear Santa I would like my Christmas list this year to have items to make my house a home, to soften its hard edges in every room and to bring some personality into the mix and not just the clean lines and clinical feel as was the past.

I know your generosity will only stretch financially to one or 2 things if I am lucky but since these are investment pieces I am sure you will know that they will be loved for many years.

So this festive season I am making a pledge Dear Santa, to improve my rather eclectic taste into a more refined collection over the next 12 months and also to learn to cook … properly… or at least try!
