I recently started looking at replacing our worn out standard kitchen knives and was given some information from the fantastic Company Cerakook about their amazing products.
After posting about their lovely new products I was approached and asked if I would like to try the real thing!….. Who wouldn’t they looked so stylish and they sounded right up this Oliver’s street!
Let’s face it although my name is Jaime Oliver I am no great cook and anything that’s going to help me get my batch cooking done quicker and more efficiently than I am at the minute is a bonus with me!
I have been so looking forward to my knife arriving that when the day arrived last week I was almost doing a jig (if I am honest I did do a small jig but only once the postie was safely shut on the other side of the door … shh don’t tell anyone)

So when I got into the packaging I was in total awe! The only way I can describe it is its actually quite beautiful (I never thought I would say that about a kitchen utensil) it has a very handy sheath that fits over the blade when not in use which I thought was very handy as it has been known in this house that the current knife offerings have caught a stray finger while grabbing something from the drawer.

So this weekend I have been mass producing lasagne for a family gathering on Sunday and thought I would add some to the Oliver freezer for when we all get sick of turkey (that will be boxing day sorted then!)
If you can be in love with a kitchen utensil then that’s what’s happening over here right now! Its slides through anything! And although it’s a little cliché I have to say it really does cuts like a hot knife through butter, or in my hubbys case skin!
Yep we had a medical emergency when the hubby sliced through his finger while cutting up fresh pineapple (I did warn him it was sharp)

We have been using this for just over a week and we really are loving it .. top marks Cerakook it’s easy to clean, looks fantastic and does an amazing job!
