A Guide To Celebrating In Style

Celebration. People holding glasses of champagne making a toastIf you’re not going to celebrate in style, is there any point in celebrating at all? Whether you have a big birthday coming up, an anniversary, or another special occasion that you would like to commemorate, make sure you do it right!

Here, we’re going to give you some amazing tips for celebrating in style that can work for most occasions. Read on if you want some suggestions:

Splurge And Go To A Restaurant You’d Usually Consider Out Of Your Price Range

Is there a restaurant you’ve had your eye on, or even just heard about in passing, that you’ve always considered out of you price range? Eating at Michelin star restaurants isn’t something most people can afford, but when it’s a special occasion, you should splurge and go for it!

You won’t break the bank if it’s a one time thing, and it’s a great new experience to have under your belt. Will you eat at the Ritz, or the restaurant of a famous chef like Gordon Ramsey?

Make A Bucket List And Start Working Through It

If this is a special birthday, it could be time to create a bucket list and start working through it, if you haven’t already usually. People make bucket lists with the best of intentions but don’t end up ticking anything off their list. Don’t be this person! Live life to the fullest and commit to doing everything you’ve written down.

Of course, this means that you will need to be realistic with your list – you might not get the opportunity to become a lion tamer or perform your guitar solo in front of the Queen of England. However, there are plenty of things you can do that are within your reach if only you are willing to step out of your comfort zone. You could go on a hot air balloon ride and take in the views, go skydiving and feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins, or you could even do something for charity, like a white collar boxing match!

What have you always wanted to do that you’ve always been a little afraid to start? Do it now, while the idea has momentum. Doing something for charity, as mentioned above, is extra incentive to actually go through with it.

Go Travelling

Many people say that they want to go travelling, but very few do it. They make excuses, such as money being an issue, and other things tying them down. Things can definitely make travelling harder, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. If you can think of even one way you could make travelling work for you, you should go and do it. You will open your eyes and gain perspective on your life! When you travel, you could go snorkelling in tropical seas and see a completely new underwater world. You can take in different cultures and make friends from all walks of life. You could even go on safari and see animals up close that you never would have dreamed of. Don’t forget to find accommodation that suits your needs. Places like glamour apartments offer long term rentals if you’re going to take a leap of faith and travel for a while.

Why not treat yourself to that shopping spree you’ve always dreamed of? You know what they say about money; you can’t take it with you! Head somewhere like Rodeo drive, Oxford street, or even Tiffany’s in New York and treat yourself. You only live once!

Head To A Spa

Feel stressed most of the time? You could celebrate best in a spa environment. Jacuzzis, saunas, and massages are awesome ways to de-stress and treat yourself, whatever the occasion.

Plan A Get Together With All of Your Nearest And Dearest

Planning a get together with the people you love doesn’t need to be a ‘Party’. It doesn’t have to be loud or OTT; you could simply eat good food, have a few drinks, and reminisce on all of the good times you’ve enjoyed together. However, if a party is what you’d like, then throw one! Find an awesome venue, pick a theme, and listen to some of your favorite songs while dancing the night away. Make it a night to remember!

Learn Something New

Always wanted to learn how to sing, dance, or act but never got around to it? Go and do it. Treat yourself and celebrate by growing as a person!

Have A Makeover

Always wondered what you’d look like with a new hair color, style, or even a different lipstick? Treat yourself to a fun makeover and surprise your loved ones!
