As most of my regular readers over here and over on my parenting blog will know this cooking lark is a reasonably new concept for me and one in which I like to honest, if I burn it, I burn it and equally I like my cooking utensils to be as user friendly as possible since cleaning baked on food it never ever going to in my excitement zone .. even if I like cleaning washing pots is a big no no so I like products that can help me do that.
Recently I was asked if I would like to take a look at the Sparq Soapstone Pizza Stone and was really excited, I have heard good things on the grapevine about using Soapstone Stones while cooking so was really looking forward to see how I got on with it.
Now this is probably going to be the most stupid thing I have said this week but it was heavier than I thought it would be … not sure what I expected as its very clearly made out of stone!
This Soapstone pizza stone is naturally non stick and stain resistant.
We love making homemade pizza and struggled in the past to cook them on our previous baking trays, they often stuck to the bottom and tore when trying to cut them up, this pizza stone has been fantastic, it made beautiful crispy bases and washed clean easily.
We have totally loved this new addition to the kitchen!
For one of my lucky readers they have the chance to win one of these 12″ Sparq Soapstone Pizza Stones for themselves and to top it off MMP Living are being super generous and along with the Pizza stone they are giving the winner a Sparq Slate Cheeseboard (10 x 14 in) too .. so a double bonus for one lucky winner!
